  • James Turnbull presented Dominic Passalacqua a Paul Harris Fellowship to the third power as a sustaining member of Rotary International’s Foundation.
Program: Mary Centro from Village of Delta was not able to present as scheduled. Frank Fazekas Jr. from New Hartford Rotary spoke instead of the recovery of his father’s remains from Buysscheure, France, where his father crashed and died flying a fighter plane during World War II on May 27, 1944. The family thought he was buried in a Buysscheure cemetery but learned in October 2015 that was not the case; he was actually still buried with his crashed plane. In 2018, the remains of Frank Fazekas Sr. were returned to the U.S., and he is now buried in Arlington National Cemetery.
