  • Travis Rabbers also introduced our Exchange Student Felix from Germany.  Felix is attending Clinton High and is playing in Clinton's soccer game this afternoon at the school.  The club was encouraged to attend and cheer Felix on.

  • PP Stew Williams is pictured in the OD in an article about Utica's Tabernacle Church and their upcoming 200th Anniversary.
  • Philip Bean also in an OD article regarding the restoration of the historic bridges in Proctor Park.
  • Rich Synek was noted in a TV news spot regarding the "Feed Our Vets" and their need to move to a new home.
  • On Facebook: Dana Jerrard and the release of his butterflies and his new "meatless burger;"  Elizabeth Nassar and gift baskets for homeless veterans; and Linda Iannone and Travis Rabbers celebrating their Birthdays.  Happy Birthday to Linda and Travis!
Announcements:
  • Bob DelleCese and Joann Longo are back at today's meeting after some time in Sick Bay.
  • Larry Callabrese, who is currently at the Cleveland Clinic, will be living at Preswick Glen in New Hartford soon.
  • Jim Turnbull mentioned that the Service Fund was now in full swing and the goal this year is $14,000.  The minimum contribution of $160.00 will get you into the prize drawings and a contribution of $200.00 will get you in twice!
  • Mary Ann Hallock-Serwatka reminded us of Veteran Appreciation Dinner and Trivia Night at Cornerstone Community Church on Saturday, November 9 at 6 PM.  Rotarians and guests $5.00.  Vets - FREE.
  • Jill Koch also reminded us of the Membership Mixer Thursday, November 21st at the Delta Hotel.  Cost is $30.00 for Rotarians while guests are free.  Elaborate hors d'oeurves along with prizes and cash bar will be available.
Today's Program:
Today we heard from New Hartford Rotarian Jeff Gornick who has a new position with the Neighborhood Center of Utica as Fund Development Coordinator.  The Center is a human services agency with a mission to enrich the lives of individuals and families through cooperative opportunities and resources.
