  • Anna D'Ambrosio is listed in an article in Accent Magazine where she proudly states that the Institute is fortunate to host an exhibition of tiffany's celebrated pieces.
  • In the OD, Philip Bean, executive Director of the CNY Conservancy had an editorial.
Roger also reported that on Facebook, he found: 
  • Linda Iannone visiting Austin Texas where she was climbing mountains, toured the Capital and Mozart Coffee Roaster
  • Mary Lou visiting Rhode Island where it was very hot.
  • Norma had posted athletic pictures of her husband Jim.
  • And finally that Dana was raising Butterflies in his home.
Announcements:
  • President Joe reported that he had a good time at the monthly Rotary Get together, last night which was held at 72 Tavern and Grille.  Pictures are online at the UR website.
  • Joe also mentioned that the Theatre at Woodshill on Sessions Road in Sauquoit, will be presenting Shakespeare's Hamlet.  Interested Rotarians should get in touch with Linda Iannnone as she is getting groups together for Saturday, August 17 and Thursday, August 22.
  • Norma mentioned that GSE team member Sara Blaney from England will be visiting and anyone that would like to catch up with her, should get in touch with Norma about details.
Today's Program:
Today we welcomed Past District Governor Deb Glisson and District Governor Elect Dana Jerrard.  They gave us very important information regarding the Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI) which will take place at VVS High School on Saturday, September 28.  RLI is a four part continuing education program designed to foster Rotary teamwork and make participants more effective as volunteers and leaders.  This program is open to all Rotarians and the cost is only $85.00 per person.  
 
Next Week's Program:  District Governor Randy Wilson and his vision for this year's Rotary District.
 
Final Remarks:
  • Jack Altdoerffer picked up Ophelia from the USA tour and she wanted to say hello to everyone and that she had a BLAST!!!!
