  • Former Rotarian Dr. Taras Herbowy’s obituary can be found in the OD. He passed away April 2nd
 
Announcements:
  • Remember to sign in at the front desk before meetings
  • The permit for the Highway Program is on the way for the Area 2 & 3 clubs to clean the north street sides from Burrstone to Court Street. 20 volunteers will be needed and will need training.
  • Hope House dinner service is scheduled for Friday, April 19; 3-4 volunteers are needed from 12-3 p.m. to prepare dinner and 3-4 volunteers are needed from 3-5 p.m. to serve dinner. If interested, contact Michelle Brandstadt or sign up at upcoming meetings - FILLED
  • Rotarians will be part of the Great American Clean Up Saturday May 4th from 10-12 pm at Kopernik Park
  • Rotarians are encouraged to help out at the zoo Monday, April 15th. Report to the gift shop after 5 pm
  • 20 volunteers are needed, Rotarians or not, to man the Parkway Rec Center water station at the Boilermaker July 14th. Please sign up at a meeting by April 30th
  • The District Conference, to be held in Lake Placid, is May 3rd – 5th
  • The district training assembly is at Vernon-Verona-Sherrill HS on Saturday April 4th from 8:00 – 12:00
  • The Recap News Committee is looking for additional members willing to help with the recap on a rotating basis. If interested, contact Michelle Brandstadt or Tina Pavlot
  • Greater Utica Sunrise Rotary Club is having a pancake breakfast fundraiser on April 13, 8-10 a.m. at St. Margaret’s House, 47 Jordan Rd., New Hartford
  • North Utica-Whitestown Rotary Club is having a pancake breakfast fundraiser for high scholarships on April 7, 8-11:30 a.m. at North Utica Community Center, 50 Riverside Dr., Utica; members of Utica College football team will be serving
Program:
  • Michelle Brandstadt walked us through our new Rotary Club of Utica website. It is still under construction but is a welcomed asset to our club!
  • Bob Stronach walked us through the member access of our website. We all need to log in as a first-time user. Bob also shared some pictures with us of his recent trip to Italy.
