Rotary Shutterbugs Take Note

The Rotarian, Rotary International's official monthly magazine, has announced that its 2010 photo contest is now underway. If you have a great picture from a fundraiser, international project, the RI Convention, or local club event, you are encouraged to enter it in the contest for a chance to win the grand prize: a digital camera. The deadline for submitting photos is March 31, 2010.

Enter up to three photos that illustrate the spirit of Rotary for your chance to win.

Steve Baroch, a member of the Rotary Club of Castle Rock Noon, Colorado, USA, won the 2009 contest with the above photo of boys in their schoolyard in a Nairobi slum. The book they're reading was provided through a nonprofit funded by Baroch's club.

Please submit up to three digital photos to The Rotarian Photo Contest by clicking here, filling out the form , and uploading your photo. Submissions will be accepted until March 31, 2010, so as you go about your Rotary business, think about photo ops! Photographers can be Rotarians, or family members of Rotarians.
