MMRL In Focus This Friday

The Masonic Medical Research Laboratory (MMRL) is one of the finest biomedical research centers in the world. MMRL research is international in scope and benefit.

Learn how you, your family and friends have benefited from the scientific achievements that have emanated from the MMRL and what the future holds regarding new heart medications, diagnostic procedures for the management of cardiac arrhythmia and gene therapy.

Bring your spouses, co-workers and potential members to hear a leading authority in the filed of experimental cardiology Dr. Charles Antzelevitch, MMRL Executive Director. This is one program you do not want to miss.

New Sport: Rotary Slushshoeing

The PP Dave Jones family and Utica Rotarian Dave Bagley hosted a great group of clients of The Neighborhood Center and Thea Bowman House for a snowshoe/slush party at Roscoe Conkling Park- South Woods. Although the snow was sparse it did not deter the enthusiasm of the 17 participants who found immense joy in playing in the outdoors. I'm sure everyone found snowball fights with snow shoes a great workout and savored the post event refreshments of cookies and hot chocolate provided by the staff of the Neighborhood Center.
