We Need Final Push for Service Fund Success

More than 80 Utica Rotarians and past members have made contributions to our 2008-09 Service Fund. which stands at $15,600 against the club goal of $20,000. Last Friday drive chair Kevin Marken received a $1,000 contribution from a most generous club member. "Talk about holiday spirit!", beamed Kevin.

In order to reach our goal and meet our service project expenses for this year, we need each Rotarian to support our fund as he/she finds appropriate. We are at 78% of our goal, and have received contributions from about 65% of our members. The average gift has been much more than expected, there are just too few of them.

Utica Rotarians, this is the money that allows your club to do good things in our community and world, and we need help. If you haven't pledged your support, please consider a gift in any amount to our Service Fund. A donation of $170 by January 9 will get you entered into our drawing for a Lake Placid weekend, among other great prizes.
