Youth Exchange students paid a visit on November 14. More than 10,000 young students each year travel the world in this flagship Rotary program.

GIVING THANKS

There will be no meeting this Friday, so that our members can recover from Thanksgiving with loved ones. We Utica Rotarians have much to be thankful for, including our membership in an organization that betters the lives of millions in need worldwide.

Two events Thanksgiving morning present opportunities for Rotary service before sitting down to dinner. PP Don St.Louis is coordinating Thanksgiving meal deliveries from First Presbyterian Church on Genesee St. If you want to lend a hand, click here to send an email to PP Don.

The 24th annual Thanksgiving Day Run & Walk to End Hunger is set for this Turkey Day. Click here for the event flyer. This is an ideal way to "pre-burn" some of those holiday calories, and support local food pantries in the process. More than TEN TONS of food has been collected by this event over the years. Registration starts at 7:30 am, the kids run at 8:50 am, and the 2 mile walk and 5K run start at 9:00, all from the Parkway ski chalet.
